in which I’ve become a Homestuck kid
This isn’t right. You’re supposed to be with me!
The actual definition of what some guys think when the girl says “no”.
"OMG I did this and that for YOU, you must date me!"
Hell no. If I don’t like you, I won’t date you.
This movie is fucking golden.
YES CAN WE TALK ABOUT THIS MOVIE
Megamind has the ultimate example of a “nice guy”, Hal, who liked Roxanne - and he was clear about it. He “complimented” several things to her in the beginning, which guess what - were not flattering at all, but downright creepy, so really, it was no wonder Roxanne didn’t like him.
But after he gets his superpowers, he expects her to - he expects to be rewarded for being the “good guy”, despite the fact that he hasn’t really done anything for her. When she rejects him and later finds out that she had dated Megamind for a time, he’s furious that she would date the “bad guy” when he is the “good guy”.
Yet despite Megamind being “bad” and Hal being “good”, it’s Megamind who respects what she wants - when she told him to back off, he backed off, and then later apologized, while Hal was legit going to kill her for rejecting him. So really, who is the good guy?
I have seriously never seen a more frightening movie villain than Hal.
Reblogging for that last comment. I can handle Voldemort, no problem. Hal terrified me.

What… the… FUCK?!
School logic. You protect yourself and others and get punished because you choose to act rather than be silent and let them do whatever they want. Its the policy they have for everything, from bullying to this.
okay what the actual fuck
(THIS IS AMERICA)
Can I just point out that in Finland, that’s how the criminal law goes. If you act and accidently hurt the criminal/attacker in the process, you become the criminal/attacker and the person is able to press charges against you for physical and mental damage. Just because you stopped them from hurting someone and accidently hurt them in the process. If you don’t wanna get sued, don’t do anything, call the cops and watch the attacker hurt the victim in silence until the police arrive to solve the issue.
An acquaitance of mine once stopped a man knifing another by pulling him off the victim and pushing him away. The attacker fell over and broke his hand. The acquaitance later had to pay for the attacker’s medical bills, compensation for mental damage that he suffered and court bill. All for saving a guy’s life. But hey! He broke a man’s hand! Doesn’t matter if it was an accident, he still broke it.
Someone said “Are you really so stupid to think that Africa has the same technological advances as us? If they did they would probably have clean water and not live in houses made of sticks and mud. Get over yourself and stop being so ignorant.”….. Below is a tiny collection of images of the Africa they refuse to show you..
I’m sorry you’ve been made to believe that the whole of Africa is poor, I really am..
Reblogging for those of you who think Africa is only what the media and movies portrays it to be
If you don’t think she’s the cutest puppy in the world, you’re wrong.
Most adult children of toxic parents grow up feeling tremendous confusion about what love means and how it’s supposed to feel. Their parents did extremely unloving things to them in the name of love. They came to understand love as something chaotic, dramatic, confusing, and often painful—something they had to give up their own dreams and desires for. Obviously, that’s not what love is all about.
Loving behavior doesn’t grind you down, keep you off balance, or create feelings of self-hatred. Love doesn’t hurt, it feels good. Loving behavior nourishes your emotional well-being. When someone is being loving to you, you feel accepted, cared for, valued, and respected. Genuine love creates feelings of warmth, pleasure, safety, stability, and inner peace.

This also applies to survivors of abusive relationships.
So thats how he gets ready everyday.
In 1808, Napoleon, running out of scenic holiday destinations to invade, realized he’d somehow totally forgot about his neighbor to the south, Spain. So that year he dispatched his troops, kicking off the Peninsular War.
Only 20 years old and working as a barmaid in the town of Valdepenas, Juana Galan was not expecting a surge of French soldiers to come storming through her village. But on June 6, that’s exactly what happened. At that time, most of the men were fighting Napoleon’s forces elsewhere in the nation. Juana, unfazed by things like rifles and Frenchmen and French riflemen, began organizing the women in her village to form a trap for the approaching army.
When the army arrived, Juana and her friends were ready. They dumped boiling water and oil on the French troops, which by all accounts will instantly take the fight out of pretty much anyone. Then Juana, armed with only a batan, beat back the heavily armed French cavalry with her squad of village women, almost none of whom were armed with guns.
The French retreated, giving up on capturing not just Juana’s town but the entire province of La Mancha, leading to ultimate Spanish victory. Today, she is seen in Spain as a national hero, a symbol of resistance, strength, patriotism, feminism and hitting shit with a stick. (x)
That’s one hell of a portrait.
